The St. Augustine Art Association held a Tactile Show on October 4th, 2009. It housed artwork that was able to be enjoyed by blind students. Each piece of work was designed to be touched when art is usually meant to look at. This way, the art is not selective on who it reaches out to.

With the elegance of a grand piano in their midst, people crowded around tactile art and delicious finger foods.

Jean Light Willis created this towering papier mache model of her family tree.

The Art Association's beautiful courtyard incorporates seamlessly with the elegance inside.

Leaving the Tactile Show in the early evening, onlookers discuss the success of the exhibit.
